Bassy’s Bio

Originally from upstate New York, Sarah moved to Boston for her college career. She attended the Art Institute of Boston for two years, majoring in fine arts and playing soccer for Lesley University. She studied abroad in Rome at Lorenzo de Medici for a semester, and soon after, transferred to Boston University.

She transitioned to graphic design with a minor in printmaking at Boston University, and completed the COMA Dutch Design program in Amsterdam. She graduated with a BFA from the College of Fine Arts, as Valedictorian of the School of Visual Arts and president of BU AIGA.

After working with Converse HQ from 2014–2020, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue an opportunity at Reese Witherspoon’s production company Hello Sunshine. On her birthday in 2021, she was inspired to dive into freelance full-time and have loved the variety of projects and people she has stumbled across. Sarah is currently running a interdisciplinary and multi-hyphenate creative studio based in Boston, MA with clients from Los Angeles to New York City.
